The Junker JU-52 "Pava" protagonist of the first airlift in history.
In July 1936 the first airlift in history was established in order to transport the troops of the Army of Africa to the peninsula passing over the Strait of Gibraltar that was then blocked by the Republican war fleet. One of the pillars of that operation was the Junker JU-52 "Pava".
