The commemorative clock of the centenary of the Air bases of Getafe, Leon, Tablada, Zaragoza and Torre Cuatro Vientos.
This clock commemorates the 1920-2020 centenary of the first Spanish air bases: Getafe, Leon, Tablada, Zaragoza and Torre Cuatro Vientos. These bases are considered the embryo of what has been the Air Force since 1939.
Like it says in the decree of 1920 "For the organization and distribution of the forces and services of aeronautics military, is considered to be divided by now the national territory into four zones, with the designation of air bases," and goes on to say "we created four air bases, corresponding to the four areas mentioned above, with the capitalidades in Madrid, Zaragoza, Seville and Lion, respectively known by the names of first or Central, second or North, third, or South and fourth or Northwest"
It is the emblem of the centenary of the first Spanish Air Bases.
The dial includes the emblem created to commemorate the centenary of the Getafe Air Base and the back cover includes an engraving of the base's emblem.
