The AVIADOR AV-1211-9 RBF Watch was manufactured for the pilots of ALA 14 in honor of its 50th Anniversary.
Ala 14 is a unit of the Spanish Air Force, founded in 1974 and based at Los Llanos Air Base in the Spanish city of Albacete. Among other aircraft, it is equipped with Eurofighter Typhoon jets. Its main mission is to carry out aerial operations. The emblem features a "Frightened Quixote" over a yellow circle representing the land of La Mancha and three Mirage F.1 jets in the blue sky, which were the first aircraft assigned to Ala 14.

The RBF watches are inspired by the safety inscriptions used in military aviation, "Remove Before Flight." This phrase is printed in white characters on red safety tags used to mark covers, pins, or plugs placed to protect sensitive parts of the aircraft (sensors, air intakes, etc.) after technical and mechanical inspections. As the name suggests, they must be removed before the aircraft is ready for takeoff.
