The silhouette of the Gyroplane in full flight, with its huge upper blades pointing at 2, 7 and 11 o'clock, distinguishes the special dial of the autogiro watch by Engineer Juan de la Cierva. The main needles of this piece they are inspired by the “Art Deco” aesthetic that was all the rage in 1923, the year of the first flight of a singular aircraft, placed halfway between Leonardo da Vinci's suggestions and Sikorsky's helicopter.
The Juan de la Cierva Autogiro Aviador Watch is presented with a steel case 316 antiallergic and a screw closure cap in 316 antiallergic steel with engraving of the autogiro de La Cierva model. With a case diameter 44mm includes japanese Miyota quartz machinery solo tempo, carved raw dial, and interpretation of the Autogyro of the Doe with Arabic numbering. The crown is lacquered and the strap is made of blue leather with a width of 22mm. It is submersible up to 10 ATM.
This collector's watch solo tempo dedicated to the Spanish inventor of the Cierva rounds off the line Watches with History in the Aviador 2017 Collection. It is produced in such a way handcrafted in a very limited series, with the documents proving authenticity.
