UME Military Emergency Unit

Tribute watches to the Military Emergency Unit (UME).

The UME is a body of the armed forces that was created with the in order to intervene quickly anywhere in the Spanish national territory in cases of catastrophe, serious risk or other public needs.

During these years the UME has been required to act in various emergency situations such as: forest fires, flood rescues, earthquake rescues and other interventions for environmental risks.

His interventions abroad deserve special mention, such as his participation in the rescue efforts after the earthquake in Ecuador in 2016.
